These are all common search terms that are used when people are experiencing an onset of back pain. We want to try to help ourselves and get the best advice for a speedy resolution to an issue.
The responses are vast, but are they always accurate??
Statistics from The Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) have found:
- 1,380,000,000 google searches for ‘back pain’
- 61 million YouTube video results for ‘back pain’
- 60% of these YouTube videos for back pain contain FALSE OR MISLEADING information…
- 32% Physios cite 32% patients daily who cite misleading information they have seen online
- 125,000 monthly UK searches for Plantar fasciitis
- 50% UK adults have searched for an MSK (Musculoskeletal) information online
