Better Balance Group
The class is for all ages, exercises are functional, progressive, non-chair based and tailored for individuals within the group.
Aim: to improve balance, posture, strength and confidence.
A snap shot of exercises could include:
Sit to stand
Step ups
Variety of Walking practice
Standing ball work
8 week course:
Week 1- Pre-assessment with physiotherapist with Becky Hitchcock (30 mins) Please note our standard 30 minute Physiotherapy charge applies.
Week 2-7- Group exercise classes (40 mins)
Week 8- Post- assessment with physiotherapist Becky Hitchcock (30 mins) Please note our standard 30 minute Physiotherapy charge applies.
Clients will be expected to complete exercises at home as well.
You will be given a booklet with exercises to enable you to record your exercises and progressions.
