As a qualified sports massage therapist and fitness professional with a BSc (Hons) in Physical Activity and Health, my approach is all about client-centered care, helping individuals reach their health and fitness goals through focused recovery and training strategies. My philosophy is focused on understanding each client’s unique needs and providing tailored sports massage therapy to aid in muscle recovery, injury prevention and overall performance enhancement.
I’ve always been extremely passionate about the benefits of sport and physical activity, having spent years studying and experiencing firsthand how essential movement is for overall well-being. My love for sports massage comes from knowing the impact it has on recovery and performance- whether helping athletes bounce back from injuries or supporting clients in achieving pain-free movement.
Outside of work, I stay active with boxing training and enjoy running, functional strength training, and spending quality time with family and friends.
I am a Professional Clinical Aromatherapist and the owner of Rose Aromatics.
In a previous life, I was a lawyer in the City of London for over 20 years. After experiencing health issues, the use of complementary therapies (including aromatherapy), helped give me a feeling of being involved in my own health management and well-being plus a sense of control, which is often lacking in standard medical treatments.
When I am not working with or studying essential oils my hobbies relate to all thing’s textile, including quilting, embroidery, weaving, knitting, historical garment construction and fashion, among other textile related activities. For the past few years, I have had a stall at the St Edmundsbury Cathedral Christmas Market selling embroidered goods which I really enjoy doing as I get to meet so many interesting people.
